Whenever you feel down and sense that you are unable to manage your professional career and the business is slipping out from your hands, just look around your world and you will find people who are in more appalling state of affairs than yours. Believe me you will find yourself to be much fortunate. Misfortune can happen to any body and anywhere so never be disheartened and always treat them as small obstacles in life. But this is for sure that none can prepare oneself for these kinds of eventuality. However, if you always try and keep a second option accessible to you it is always a better option like we say “Don’t wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it”. Akin to this it’s easier to have a stable career. Moreover, if you have lost somewhere in past, it does not matter because the sooner you imply these strategies it will be better for you. I personally admire that person who swims out but against the current because this way he/she realizes their strengths.

The foremost thing to be kept in mind is to never be disconsolate at any point in life. All “up-sets” are set-ups from God. And then God helps those who help themselves. So always remember you just have to work hard and intellectually with patience, and then opportunities will track you.

If things are just not feeling right and you are yourself feeling edgy just keep a track of your company with daily management strategies, market snap shots, company news and share prices. I am not suggesting that you have to become paranoid in any case but don’t simply let these go unnoticed under your nose. These will help you keep a track of the current circumstances which will help you to get a better vision; therefore keep your eyes wide-open.
Always be keen on learning new business opportunities and never miss the Internet for recent developments in concerned areas. These days, there are many successful business opportunities available on Internet. Learning should always be considered a never ending process because one keeps learning throughout till the ld age as well. Although it may seem that you will never fit in any other circumstances but it is a fact that adaptability is inbuilt in all.

Try to build good long term relations in your business keeping consistent profit margins because even a customer who buys a needle can order sacks of diamonds someday. But always keep this in mind that you never suffer a loss in trying to build the same.
So, next time if you are suffering loss in your business, take some time and consider the problem deeply. Try and resolve the crisis because “Our greatest glory is not in falling but when rising every time we fall”.

The definition of success and the definition of excellence varies for each individual. You can not expect your goals and aspirations to affect your neighbor’s any more than theirs would you. However, there is a common bond those share who are seeking out successful lives and are yearning to live in the realm of excellence.

“The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.” Vince Lombardi. Lombardi’s words are powerful and intense, and anyone wishing success should be able to reflect upon them to understand their direction in life. He is obvious in his statement, that it is not your chosen field that makes you successful. Long gone are the days of “marry a doctor,” and “work for your uncle because he is successful.” Today’s standards of success are measured by more than a paycheck. It is measured by a state of excellence.

So how does an average individual achieve that excellence that we are all seeking? How does one internalize Lombardi’s words and make it their daily creed? Through intensive and purposeful practice.

Intensive and purposeful practice refers to deciding every single day that you are going to strive for more than you achieved yesterday in all areas of life. It means that today you’re going to strive for additional kindness toward your spouse and still hold firm in your business dealings with the courage of your convictions. It means that that everyday there are opportunities which are draped out in front of you and you have to discern what type of opportunities they are.

Some opportunities will be an obvious chance for advancement in your career, others will be an opportunity to be a better human being. There will be opportunities to make huge errors and opportunities to correct those huge errors. Living in excellence means that you can discern your opportunities as they appear to you, and you will be able to understand what they mean for your life.

Many business people are excellent business people but are lagging in other areas of their life. Many people have grown into excellent parents and spouses and friends but struggle to make business decisions. Every decision has the potential to be weighed out and either snatched up or tossed aside. When striving to live in excellence, these decisions should be weighed (albeit sometimes rather quickly) against how they affect the basic goal. Do these decisions provide an opportunity for growth? Do they provide the opportunity to develop a business relationship or personal relationship that can be mutually beneficial? Do they offer an alternative to another problem? By maintaining focused on the goal of chronic excellence, these decisions will become easier to make, both in the business world and the personal world.

Excellence is only difficult to achieve when you hold yourself back from the commitment of doing so. Just as Lombardi can recognize the vital nature of the commitment, a person making their way in the world needs to remain committed. Distractions, excuses, and fear can hold us back. Commitment wipes away those ball and chains.
